Christmas – 2025

Christmas marks the birth of “Jesus Christ”. The Christians remember and respect the day as God came to earth in human form to atone for the sins of humanity. It is the strong faith of Christians. Christmas is a heightened social and economic activity of sharing gifts and people exchange greeting cards. The speciality of this festival is the gathering of family members, relatives, friends and cultivating goodwill. People all over the world celebrate this festival with “sparkling decorations, colourful lights, delicious food, jolly music, and exciting gifts”. People decorate “Christmas trees” (fir trees) with fruit and nuts, chocolates and candles. Christians wear new clothes on December 24 and attend mass at midnight in Churches. They spend the entire night on all-night meditations and prayer meetings. The people share their best wishes with each other on the morning of December 25. The people enjoy this festival time with loved ones and have a great fun and joyous time with them. People spend time together happily at special feasts.
