Kilambakkam new railway station

The station is set to open in March 2026, aimed at enhancing south Chennai connectivity.
CHENNAI: The new Kilambakkam railway station and its 275-meter skywalk, connecting to the Kilambakkam Bus Terminus (KCBT), are scheduled for inauguration in March 2026. Final structural work, including reinforcing a section of the skywalk crossing GST Road, is in progress to provide direct access to the bus terminus.
